INVESTED IN OUR MEMBERS
The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically affected our communities and exacerbated the inequities woven into the social fabric of the nation. Our mission is to address healthcare inequities by building a sustainable telehealth infrastructure capable of improving the health of the Commonwealth’s underserved patients.
Our Members and Patients
The Consortium is made up of 35 Massachusetts FQHCs that provide a broad range of accessible, high-quality, and cost-effective healthcare services to medically underserved communities. Altogether, the FQHCs of the Consortium serve more than 700,000 residents in the Commonwealth.
The Consortium has a head start in addressing the need for a robust telehealth infrastructure. We believe that now is the time to build on this foundation by investing in human and financial resources, and ensuring that our knowledge and insights will be shared with other Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) throughout the country.
Healthcare systems that come out ahead will be those who act decisively, invest to build capabilities at scale, work hard to rewire the care delivery model, and deliver distinctive high-quality care to consumers.
